Nine days. Each one worth building a trip around.

A full day exploring the sacred city: the Sri Maha Bodhi, grown from a cutting of the original Bodhi Tree in India, the Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba and the Jetavanaramaya stupa. In the afternoon, visit Mihintale, the hill where Buddhism is said to have first been introduced to Sri Lanka. Overnight in Anuradhapura.
